Women’s Ministry
Women’s ministry is a ministry encompassing ladies from all walks of life.
Our Aim
We aim to grow in the knowledge and grace of God and extend this to others.
Prosperous
We believe that God has a plan and purpose for our individual lives and that these plans are for our good and not our destruction. (Jeremiah 29:11)
We acknowledge that He wants us to know His purpose and plan, thus enabling us to reach our full potential in Him.
Our Activities
We co-ordinate a range of activities to encourage the physical, emotional, spiritual and social well-being of women. These include:-
Monthly evening meetings where women are encouraged and assisted to discover and develop their ministry. It is also a safe environment where women are encouraged to share openly with one another.
Personal visits where ladies are able to discuss issues in confidence.
Social events where we enjoy fellowship together and build on relationships. This could simply be for example a video evening, a games evening or an evening out for meal.
Monthly Women’s Services where women are given the opportunity to minister using their ‘God given’ gifting and offering purpose through God’s Word.
Prayer Pairs where women pray one for another, build trusting relationships. This encourages individuals to support and care for each other in practical ways.
We believe that every woman’s needs and talents are important and therefore seek to involve new members quickly.
It is hoped that women will Reach their full potential in God, be able to Relate to God and other women, be Restored from past hurts and Released into ministry.
Our Vision
The vision of the women’s ministry is to confront those things that hold us back as women, physically, emotionally, spiritually and socially so that we may grow in and be fully functional and empowered to reach out to others with the Good News, bringing hope to the hopeless and disciple them into the Body of Christ. We recognize that the issues we face are no respecter of persons as they affect all women, whether saved or unsaved, and regardless of their culture, social or financial status. It is our prayer that every woman’s heart will grow impassioned for God as she learns through His word the depth of His love, His power and total sufficiency to meet her every need.
